Is there no longer a buffet option at the Disney C B R? WHen I booked it there was and now I no longer see that.

Welcome, Joshua, and thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel. Let's go on island time at one of my favorite Walt Disney World Resort hotels!

Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort is a beautiful oasis in the middle of the hustle and bustle of Walt Disney World, with cheerful colors, lush landscaping, and sandy beaches that make you feel like you're in the tropics. Let me tell you, putting your tired feet in the cool sand after a long day at the Theme Parks is relaxation at its finest.

And Joshua, this beautiful Resort hotel just got even better! Disney recently completed a major renovation to Old Port Royale, which houses the main lobby, food court, and table service restaurant. Since Old Port Royale had to close during the rehab, Disney put up a temporary buffet location to give Guests staying there a place to eat while construction was ongoing.

Now that this jewel is back to her lovely self, there are some great new dining options you can try! We recently had lunch at the new restaurant, Sebastian’s Bistro, and oh, my goodness! The atmosphere is light and airy but sophisticated, the views are incredible through the large, bright windows, and the food is amazing! Plus, Banana Cabana pool bar transformed into a laid back lakeside eatery, while Centertown Market serves up tasty quick service meals throughout the day.

I hope you have a great time planning your visit to this island-inspired paradise, Joshua! Please come visit us again if you have any more questions.

    Keep Disney Dreaming,

Meet the Panelist: Kathy, Florida

I've lived my whole life just an hour's drive from Walt Disney World, so I've been a regular visitor for as long as I can remember. Even after all these years and so many visits, I love that there's still so much to discover! Now that I'm a mom myself, seeing my favorite place through my son's eyes has given me a whole new perspective that I enjoy sharing with other parents of young children. Learn More About Kathy
