If we can no longer attend the Oogie Boogie Bash party at Disneyland California Adventure, can we unlink our tickets on the Disneyland app/account and can a friend or family member use them instead?

    Hello, Denise,

I’m sorry to hear that you will no longer be able to attend Oogie Boogie Bash – A Disney Halloween Party. I’m looking forward to this brand new event at the Disneyland Resort. Though, we are almost in the same situation as you. One of our group will also not be able to attend the party with us. I’m sad that one of us won’t be able to make it. But I’m happy to report to you that giving your tickets to other guests is OK to do. You can simply send a copy of the Disney eTickets with the barcodes with your family or friends. Even the eTicket numbers are enough information for a Cast Member to manually enter into the ticket system at the entrance of Disney California Adventure Park. At that point, the guests using the eTickets will have their photos taken and linked with the actual tickets, which will be printed and given to the guests. Please note that the terms and conditions of the tickets indicate that they “are nonrefundable and may not be resold or transferred for a commercial purpose.” You may pass along your tickets to others as long as the tickets are not sold for commercial gain, sometimes called ticket scalping.

As for the tickets linked in your Disneyland app, you have a couple of options. The easiest thing to do is simply leave them there until they expire. It’s OK to link the same tickets to multiple accounts at the same time. If another guest links them to their account, they may even have the opportunity to give each ticket a unique nickname to help them keep track of which guest is using which ticket. Though it’s not required, another option is to call the Disneyland Resort technical support team at (714) 520-6222. They can help with unlinking tickets from your account.

I hope you will be able to return to the Disneyland Resort soon, Denise. You may be missing out this time. But there is still much more to come at the Disneyland Resort. And please come back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel with any additional questions you may have.
