Welcome to planDisney, Amy!
Thanks for stopping by to chat about using a dining plan with your Mouseketeer. My little ones are also eligible for children's pricing at
Walt Disney World, and I've found myself in your situation before. Let's dig into some dining details!
At
Yorkshire County Fish Shop and any other quick-service eatery without a children's menu, your five-year-old can order any entree on the menu and still use his
dining plan credits. Beer-battered fish and chips is the only entree selection here, so it's an easy choice! When we dine here, my family loves eating on the patio overlooking World Showcase Lagoon.
Quick tip: if anyone in your party isn't keen on fish, just the chips are available as a snack on your dining plan.
I hope this is helpful, Amy, and that you have a wonderful time on your upcoming adventure. While you're in
EPCOT, consider taking your child on one of the scavenger hunts featured in the
EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival. My daughter loved completing
Remy's Hide & Squeak challenge last year and still uses the lunch tote she won as a prize. If hunger strikes during your quest, stop by the global marketplaces where you can find many items designated as snacks on the dining plan. Watch for the
Disney Parks Blog to release this year's Foodie Guide before the festival begins to plan your snacking around the world!
Thanks so much again for visiting us at
planDisney, Amy. It's been a pleasure talking about one of my favorite topics - Disney food - with you! If there is anything else we can do to make your fall escape even more magical, don't hesitate to write back.
Bon appetit,
Betsy
