Hi Holly!
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I am so excited that you have a Disney Cruise Line vacation booked for early next year! With so much to do onboard and at port, you are certain to have the BEST time! If you haven’t yet marked your calendar for 75-days prior to your voyage, do so! Because that is when first-time Guests can start booking your onboard activities such as adult-exclusive dining, spa reservations and Port Adventures!
Unfortunately, Disney Cruise Line
prohibits Guests from bringing onboard personal steamers for use in their staterooms so you will need to leave your personal steamer at home. Luckily, though, there are several laundry rooms throughout the ship that have irons available for Guest use. Additionally, Disney Cruise Line offers full-service
laundry for a nominal fee – and in fact, if you just want an item pressed, they will do that for 50% of the laundry price! We will often leave send out our laundry for pressing since it’s so easy, convenient and will be delivered right back to your stateroom when done!
While you are considering items to pack for your adventure at sea, don’t forget your pirate garb for the fun and exciting
Pirate Night onboard! And, if you are traveling with any little swashbucklers, you may want to consider a Pirates League makeover for them! My boys always look forward to their transformation into rough and tough pirates ready to defend the “Mickey Boat” from enemy pirates!
Please come back with any other planning questions you have as you continue preparing for your voyage!
Happy Sailing!
