Hi, I have no idea how to plan this, there are so many options and too much information. we are travelling from India and we are 3 of us, our child is 9. please can you guide us, how we can do this

Hi there Zainab, Welcome to planDisney! Thank you for reaching out with your question. I’m so excited to help you plan your upcoming trip to Walt Disney World Resort! I completely understand that with so many options, it can feel overwhelming, but we’re here to guide you through the process and help make your planning as easy as possible and I’m here to guide you every step of the way!

First, think about when you'd like to visit. Disney World is open year round, but certain times, like the holidays or summer months, can be more crowded. If you prefer a quieter experience, the off peak seasons (like late winter or early spring) are great options. When it comes to flights, Orlando International Airport (MCO) is the best choice for flying into Walt Disney World. I looked up a few flights and you'll find connecting flights from major cities in India like Delhi, Mumbai, or Bengaluru.

For accommodations, staying at a Disney Resort Hotel is a fantastic choice. Not only does it give you the convenience of being close to the parks, but you'll also enjoy perks like Early Theme Park Entry and complimentary resort transportation to and from the parks. Given that you’re traveling with a 9 year old, you might want to consider a resort with fun themes and activities that are great for kids like my favorite, Disney's Art of Animation Resort

As for theme park tickets, Disney World has four major theme parks: Magic Kingdom, EPCOT, Disney’s Hollywood Studios, and Disney’s Animal Kingdom. You can purchase tickets for individual parks or choose the Park Hopper Option to visit more than one park during your stay. If you want to skip long wait times at certain rides, Lightning Lane Passes can help you reserve spots in advance and save time in line.

Dining is another key part of your trip. Disney offers a wide range of dining options, from quick bites to character dining experiences where you can meet your favorite Disney characters. It's a good idea to make dining reservations in advance. Anyone can book advance dining reservations for Walt Disney World table service restaurants up to 60 days in advance. However, on-site guests can make reservations for the duration of their trip (up to 10 days) starting 60 days prior to their resort check in date.

Don’t forget to make the most of the magical experiences available, like parades, fireworks, and character meet and greets. Lastly, download the My Disney Experience app. It’s super helpful for managing your itinerary, checking wait times for rides, and keeping track of your dining reservations.

Zainab, I hope this helps make the process of planning your Disney trip a little easier! With so many options available, it’s all about finding what works best for your family. Thank you again for visiting planDisney, and we look forward to welcoming you to the Most Magical Place on Earth, see ya real soon!
