as there is no concierge longe on the D Magic, what does the consierge service give you? do you still get free drinks as you do on the Fantasy?

    Welcome aboard, Penelope!

Thanks again for visiting the Moms Panel with your question. No doubt, the concierge lounge on the Disney Dream and Disney Fantasy are a great addition to the new ships. Since there is no concierge lounge on the Magic or the Wonder, the Concierge service team makes up for it by hosting several parties & receptions around the ship throughout your voyage. You do get free drinks (alcoholic beverages included) at those little shindigs and usually the venue will be VIP access only to concierge guests. It was nice to also see Disney Characters attend those events and have fun with the families. Since it is a much smaller amount of people, you'll get tons of pictures with the characters and get to spend more time with them too.

You'll hear from your dedicated Concierge team quite early, as they attend to your pre-cruise planning activities and answer any questions that you may have. So, if you need help in lining up your family's activities and reservations, they will be more than happy to handle these for you. It felt like the Concierge team was always available for our needs, and they were also pretty consistent about checking in on us. The invites to the hosted events were always delivered to us personally, and of course we enjoyed having the daily goodies and surprises that were delivered to our stateroom. Having the restaurant menu items available for in-room dining was a big thing for us -- especially for breakfast, as our choices were not limited to just the room service menu. The extra room throughout your stateroom and the full dining area makes everything extra comfortable.

It's gonna be difficult sailing non-concierge after all that... but, it is the Disney Cruise. So you're already getting that extra pixie dusted vacation experience already!

Have fun planning your magical voyage, Penelope!
