Welcome back to planDisney, Corrie! We love to see Guests returning to share their planning questions with us and I'm so honored to help you with your FIRST visit to Disneyland Resort!
Some of my favorite core memories have been watching the fireworks in front of Sleeping Beauty Castle with my loved ones, so I understand completely why this is a priority for you. My best advice for locating showtime information for nighttime spectaculars and other live entertainment offerings is to use the
Hours and Events Calendar on the official Disneyland Resort website or mobile app. Showtimes are populated 4-6 weeks in advance, so we're not yet able to see the planned showtimes during your intended visit dates in mid-March. I suggest checking back in the next few weeks to see the listed showtimes as your visit approaches.
I can share some general guidance about the nighttime spectaculars that are planned this Spring, however!
Mickey's Mix Magic returns to Disneyland Park on select evenings through March 21, 2024. I'm not aware of a specific reserved viewing or dining package for this entertainment offering, though. If you are interested in the reserved viewing for the 'Magic Happens' parade, you can book a
Plaza Inn Dining Package with Parade Viewing which includes your meal, plus a voucher for reserved viewing access for the parade. This is my favorite Disney parade, ever, so I hope you love it as much as my family and I do.
In Disney California Adventure Park, you can access reserved viewing for World of Color - ONE in a couple of different ways. First, you can join the complimentary
virtual queue within the Disneyland mobile app at 12:00 PM PST, subject to availability. This will allow you to watch the show from one of two reserved viewing areas, depending on the group to which you are assigned.
You also mentioned dining packages, so I want to share those options, too.
World of Color Dining Packages are offered at participating restaurants, with both lunch and dinner options. You'll want to review the details on how to reserve these dining packages, as they differ depending on the dining location. Corrie, I saved the best for last, because the ultimate way to view World of Color - ONE is with a
World of Color Dessert Party. This special celebration includes a selection of desserts and cheese, unlimited soft drinks and bottled water, coffee, tea, or hot chocolate, one alcoholic beverage for adults over age 21, and reserved seating in the premium viewing area! It just doesn't get better than treats AND seats during the show! World of Color Dessert Party reservations are typically available up to 60 days before your visit, but I noticed that reservations have only been released through the end of February. Again, I recommend checking the
Entertainment Calendar for updates, frequently!
Well, Corie, I could talk for days about live entertainment at Disneyland Resort because, for me, that's where the magic truly comes alive! If I can help with anything else as you plan your visit, please don't hesitate to
reach out again.
Magically yours,
Tishra
