Is the nighttime Magic Kingdom parade going to be replaced with another(regular season, non-holiday time), or is it permanently gone?

    Hi Mark!

Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel. To be completely honest, I have no idea if Magic Kingdom Park will get another nighttime parade in the near future. We haven't heard anything, not even rumors. I thought for sure Paint the Night from Disneyland would make its way over to Florida, but I was wrong. It's been over a year since the Main Street Electrical Parade last appeared in Magic Kingdom, and I'm missing it. That's one reason why I attend Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party every year - so I can see the Boo-to-You Halloween Parade.

The good news is there is wonderful nighttime entertainment in every Walt Disney World theme park. Happily Ever After fireworks show is the perfect grand finale to any Disney day! I love the projections on Cinderella Castle. And don't forget about Rivers of Light in Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park. I'm so glad they extended nighttime hours there to also enjoy Pandora - The World of Avatar in the dark.

I'll be making some wishes on stars that one day a regular season nighttime parade will return to Magic Kingdom, too. If you have any other questions, please come back and see us real soon.
