4 nights this summer, 3 people. Day 1 : arrival 11am. Day 5 : depart. 4pm. With Disney DP, we get no appetizers and I'd have to pay for 4 meals out of pocket. Should I update to Deluxe or would it be cheaper to pay the appetizers and 4 meals?

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Annick, we thank you for your question.

How excited you must be about your upcoming vacation to Walt Disney World Resort where magical adventures await your arrival!

Annick, by purchasing the Disney Dining Plan you’ve optimized your vacation by expanding your selection of dining choices and venues. The Disney Dining Plan begins on the day of check-in at your Disney Resort hotel and expires at midnight on the day of your package check-out date. I don’t feel you would have to pay out of pocket for any meals during your hotel stay, unless of course you have redeemed all Meal Entitlements assigned to you. In my opinion, I believe the generous Disney Dining Plan would suffice, unless of course, you want an even greater selection of dining options and portions.

The Disney Dining Plan currently includes, each night of your package stay, for Guests ages 3 and over:
    -One (1) Table-Service Meal.
    -One (1) Quick-Service Meal.
    -Two (2) Snacks.
May I add, that, many Table-Service dining venues offer a choice of:
    -One (1) Entrée.
    -One (1) Nonalcoholic Beverage.
    -OR-
-One (1) Full Buffet or Family Style Meal.
For your planning, Annick, I have included a current list of Disney Dining Plan locations.

    Best Disney Dishes!
