Hi Rose!
The
Pirates and Pals Fireworks Voyage is such a fantastic event. I'm patiently awaiting the opening of the booking window so I can reserve it for my own family for our September 2012 Walt Disney World vacation also!
During 'regular' season, the Voyage takes place Friday, Saturday, Sunday & Monday evenings. The schedule increases to accommodate extra evenings on occasion, but only during peak, holiday seasons.
I absolutely understand your desire to plan it for the last evening of your trip as I love finishing our holiday with that event as well. However, you could instead
start your vacation with the Voyage by booking it for your Monday evening? Based on your September 24th arrival, your booking window will open March 28th so be sure to call in that day to make your reservation at (407) WDW-PLAY.
As an alternate idea for your last evening, might I suggest that you consider the
Tomorrowland Terrace Fireworks Dessert Party? It's another enjoyable way to watch the Wishes Nighttime Spectacular display in a comfortable setting without leaving Magic Kingdom park. Your party will have a reserved table in the Terrace, great views of Cinderella Castle for both The Magic, The Memories and You and the fireworks, all while enjoying beautiful desserts & treats with hot & cold beverages. A Disney PhotoPass Photographer is usually on hand and you'll have plenty of great photo opportunities of your own. This experience can be reserved for your party by calling Disney Dining Reservations at (407) WDW-DINE. It's another GREAT way to spend a special, last evening of vacation together as a family.
Wishing you a simply Magical time on your Walt Disney World vacation Rose!
