Hello, Diego! I like the way you are choosing to celebrate the New Year. I can't think of any place more fun to ring in 2024 than onboard a Disney Cruise.
There will be a semi-formal evening on the fourth evening of your voyage (Saturday) and an Optional Dress-Up night on the fifth evening onboard (Sunday, also New Year's Eve). The Optional Dress-Up night is essentially a formal night. Guests can choose to get dressed to the nines or continue to opt for
cruise casual like on other evenings. I like the idea of dressing up in formal wear for New Year's Eve!
You'll be dressed in your best to celebrate a magical beginning to the New Year. The celebration onboard will include music, food, and festivities. There will be opportunities for guests of every age to join in the party and activities that begin earlier and go past midnight.
Did you know your sailing will also encounter pirates? On the second night of your journey, you can expect to see those scallywags for
Pirate Night onboard. Pirate Night includes a special dinner menu, themed activities, and a big deck party complete with sparkling treasure in the sky (aka fireworks). It's a buccaneer blast, that's for sure. Many Disney Cruise Line guests dress up for the occasion. If you find that your wardrobe is lacking in the pirate department, you can rest assured knowing that the shops onboard will have clothing and accessories that are worthy of a seadog for sale.
Diego, have an incredible time! Please sail back to us at planDisney if you ever have more questions. My panelists pals and I will be here for you.
Bon Voyage,
Adrianna
