Hi Anne,

Thanks for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question.

I know from personal experience that the buses continue to run from Magic Kingdom to the resort hotels until all the guests who have been enjoying Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party have departed. Some of my Moms Panel friends and I lingered until after the midnight closing time of the party last year, and we still had no trouble finding a bus to carry us back to our resort.

But not all party guests stay until the end, so the buses should make regular departures all evening.

Enjoy your dinner at one of the Magic Kingdom area resorts (there are so many great restaurants to chose from there!) and as long as you make your way back to the Magic Kingdom bus station any time before midnight, you should have no issues with transportation.
