Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Guy!

My family thoroughly enjoys meeting Disney Characters, and it sounds as if this describes your family too! One of the biggest draws of attending Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is the opportunity to see rare Disney Characters. Meeting Jack Skellington and Sally is one of the most popular Special Disney Character Appearances at the event. To make your son's wish come true, you really must have a good strategy in place.

My biggest tip is to arrive at Magic Kingdom Park no later than 4:00 p.m. Last year, Jack Skellington and Sally started meeting Guests 2 hours prior to the official start time of the party. The Pumpkin King and his best gal came out to greet Guests in Liberty Square around 5:00 p.m., so line up for them around 4:30 p.m. Do keep in mind that Cast Members will only allow Guests wearing party wristbands to line up for all meet-and-greet opportunities. Once you it's your turn, you'll find both Jack and Sally are just dying to take pictures with the entire family!

There are many other "spooktacular-must-see-and-dos" taking place during the party that you won't want to miss. For example, Mickey's "Boo-to-You" Halloween Parade, the HalloWishes fireworks spell-ebration and trick-or-treating around Magic Kingdom Park with the happy haunts! Do pick up an event map on the way in. I also recommend having a full meal before the official start of the party. This will avoid 'eating' valuable party time later. The only exception to this rule would be to stop for the ghoulishly delicious Halloween snacks.

Wishing your family a frightfully good time!
