Welcome back, Whitney!
The nighttime spectaculars at both
Disneyland Park and
Disney California Adventure are definitely worth staying for. I remember even when my kids were very small, and it was hard to be out that late, we all loved staying at the parks to wrap up our day of adventure with the shows.
The Disneyland Forever fireworks show at Disneyland Park over Sleeping Beauty's Castle won't be back until June 7th. In the meantime, check out the really cool
Mickey's Mix Magic, some nights with fireworks included. This is a super fun experience that guests can view not only on Main Street, but on the facade of "it's a small world" and also on the water projections over at Rivers of America. I'd suggest attending
Fantasmic's 9:00 show and then staying to watch Mickey's Mix Magic in the same spot, where you'll see it projected on the water. Mickey spins some dance mixes so the family can dance along! Plus, if you attend Fantasmic first, you'll be treated to quite the extended show! If at all possible, snag a
FastPass reservation for Fantasmic so you can get a preferred viewing area. Or even better, book a
Fantasmic Dining Package which includes a meal plus you'll get a ticket into the preferred viewing areas too.
My favorite nighttime spectacular, though, is
World Of Color at Disney California Adventure. I really hope you get a chance to experience this truly unique show during your trip!
Have fun planning this adventure, Whitney!
