Welcome to planDisney, Jeffrey! A 5-night Bahamian cruise on the
Disney Magic sounds like the perfect summer kick-off, so let’s check out your schedule so you can start packing.
Your first theme night will take place on Night 2 after your day at sea. It’s an optional Dress-Up night, which means you’ll see many of your shipmates wearing their cruise finest. This is also the night my family and I like to take formal pictures with the professional photographers onboard. While photo sessions are complimentary, I recommend purchasing the
unlimited photo package before boarding to take advantage of the best savings on pictures from your trip.
Then on Night 3 after your day at
Lighthouse Point, get ready to party like a pirate! Not only will you dine on a Caribbean-inspired menu in the dining room (which should be the same restaurant you ate in on Night 2), you’ll also be treated to a
Pirate Night Deck Party and fireworks at sea (weather permitting).
While I can’t provide the exact show schedule, I can share that you’ll see the following live shows in the Walt Disney Theatre: Disney Dreams: An Enchanted Classic, Tangled: The Musical, and Twice Charmed: An Original Twist on the Cinderella Story. Of course, you’ll also find a number of first-run movies to watch during your sailing (and you may even be able to catch the new “Lilo & Stitch”!).
I know you may be too excited to sleep at this stage, so if your dreams keep you up at night and you think of more questions, I hope you’ll sail back to us here at
planDisney.
Embrace the magic,
Sami
