We are going on the 7-night Western Caribbean Cruise on the Fantasy beginning 10/3/2015. I saw in a post from 2013 that there was not a Character Breakfast offered at that time. Is a Character Breakfast now offered on the Fantasy?

    Ahoy, James!

At this time, character dining is not offered on the Disney Fantasy. No need to worry - you'll have plenty of opportunities to meet your favorite Disney Characters during your sailing! Each day, you'll receive a Personal Navigator, a detailed schedule of the day's activities. There's a dedicated section just for Character Greetings, with times and locations.

Since you'll be on one of Disney Cruise Line's Halloween on the High Seas sailings, you'll have a chance to enjoy Mickey's Mouse-querade Party - a "scare-a-bration" in the atrium lobby with your favorite Disney Pals decked out in their Halloween attire. What a great chance for photo ops!

You'll also have an opportunity to see your favorite Disney friends when you stop in Castaway Cay, Disney's private island. Character Greetings are scheduled throughout the day on the island - just check your Navigator to see where and when you can find your favorites! The last time we visited, Jack Sparrow was seen casually strolling (or was it stumbling...after all, it is Captain Jack!) down the adult beach - I must say, he was quite the hit with the ladies!

Though there's not a "traditional" character meal offered on the Fantasy, don't miss dinner at Animator's Palate where you'll get a visit from a super-cool turtle dude named Crush! Crush is the star of the dinner show, and he has "totally awesome" interactions with guests throughout the meal. Suh-weet!

If you have any little princesses in your sailing party, you might be interested in the Royal Court Royal Tea - a special experience, exclusive to the Disney Fantasy. With treats, singing, dancing, gifts, and visits from beloved Disney Princesses, it's every little girl's dream! (Royal Tea = Royalty...see what they did there?) Simply visit the "My Cruise Activities" section on the DCL website to make a reservation online before you set sail.

Hope this helps! Have a magical day! - Diane W.
