Hi Kali! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. Thanks for bringing your vacation planning question to us.
Evening entertainment in the Disney Parks is phenomenal. There is no better way to end a Disney day than with a nighttime spectacular. While June is my family's preferred time to visit Walt Disney World (I'm a teacher married to a teacher, and we love to head directly to Florida as soon as that last school bell rings!), currently there is no nighttime parade at the Magic Kingdom scheduled for that month. However, Kali, you will still find plenty of exciting entertainment at the Magic Kingdom Park each evening in June.
Happily Ever After is my favorite nighttime spectacular at Walt Disney World to date. I get emotional just thinking about it, and have been known to tear up listening to the soundtrack in my car. It is just that fantastic. As someone who grew up with the films of the Disney Renaissance and started having my own children while Elsa was singing
Let it Go, all of the musical selections speak to me. For an unbeatable view of the castle projections and fireworks, I recommend finding a spot about thirty minutes before the show begins. I like to stand at the end of Main Street, U.S.A. near
Casey's Corner or the
Plaza Restaurant. Be sure to consult the
My Disney Experience App for exact showtimes.
If you want to really treat yourself to an evening of delectable desserts with a view, consider reserving a
Fireworks Dessert Party. There are a few different options, but I prefer the
Fireworks Dessert Party at Tomorrowland Terrace, as it offers a seated viewing area that is partially covered and protected from rain.
If you linger in the castle hub after fireworks, you may be able to catch the
Once Upon a Time projection show that brings Cinderella Castle to life with Disney scenes and characters. Narrated by Mrs. Potts and her son, Chip, this captivating spectacular showcases music and scenes from favorite stories like
Cinderella,
Frozen,
Beauty and the Beast, and
Peter Pan. I caught the show just this past June and felt like Mrs. Potts was reading me a bedtime story. It was a sweet way to end our wonderful Magic Kingdom day.
Kali, even though you won't see a nighttime parade in the Magic Kingdom Park during your June vacation, I am sure that you will find plenty of fabulous entertainment to bring your magical day to a close.
Wishing you a happily ever after!
Betsy
