We are going on the 7 night southern Caribbean cruise itinerary A this September. We have a 1 and 4 year old. Can you suggest any port adventures we can all enjoy? Is it possible to leave the kids at camp/daycare if we choose an adult only excursion? TIA

    Welcome aboard, Eric!

Sailing on the reimagined Disney Magic will be such a treat for you and your family this September! The beautiful ports that you'll be visiting will be a wonderful backdrop to the adventures that you and your little cruisers will be enjoying.  You'll love the world class accommodations and industry leading Youth Activities... top factors that sets Disney Cruise apart from everyone else in the market. There really is something for everyone!

Beach time on the wonderful beaches of Grenada and Barbados might offer your family a day to bask in the sun and burn some energy playing on the beaches. Giving your sea legs a break will be nice, and an excursion also allows you to check out the port city that you are visiting. The Aquarium Beach Day with Lunch port adventure is worth checking out while you are docked in Grenada. Aquarium refers to the name of the beach, by the way, and you are not visiting an actual aquarium. You might also want to check out the Barbados Beach Break excursion as another option, which also offers a splashtacular family adventure for a few hours.

Just in case you might want to check out an adult-only excursion, you'll be glad to know that you can check-in your kids at the Oceaneer Club and It's a Small World Nursery for the day. The Youth Clubs are simply amazing and the counselors are top notch! The kids will have loads of fun onboard while you enjoy some bonding time out at a Port Adventure.

I hope this helps, Eric. Please write back if you need any other assistance with planning your trip.

    Bon voyage,
    ~ Dolly
