Greetings Henry, and welcome to planDisney! Thanks for stopping by en route to the
Happiest Place on Earth.
You must be so excited to
return to a land of magic next month. I love seeing the joy on my California resident pals' faces as they stroll down Main Street U.S.A. and through
Sleeping Beauty Castle for the first time in over a year.
During the first phase of reopening, nighttime spectaculars such as
Fantasmic! and
World of Color are not part of our world. As guidance from the state of California and the current public health situation evolve, watch for updates on the
Disney Parks Blog; it's the best place to hear about breaking news and additional offerings in the theme parks and resorts.
In the meantime, if you're looking for something to zip-a-dee-do when the sun goes down and the theme parks are closed, consider visiting the
Downtown Disney District. Most shops and restaurants are open fairly late. If you are planning to stay at a
Disneyland Resort Hotel, I suggest winding down with a dip in one of the pools or hot tubs. An evening swim is a relaxing way to cap off a great Disney day!
I wish I could share an exact date for when fireworks and nighttime
entertainment will return to the theme parks, Henry, but for now, we'll just have to keep waiting and watching. Thanks for sending your question our way, and we look forward to seeing ya real soon!
