Hi, Nell, and welcome back to planDisney! How exciting that you have a trip coming up in just a few months, and I love that your daughter will be with you for part of it.
In your situation, since your daughter will be joining you for the last three nights of your nine-night trip, if it were me, I'd book a split stay, which means two separate reservations back-to-back. I'd book the first six nights as one reservation, and I'd book a separate reservation for the last three nights with your daughter. You'll then be able to add the
Disney Dining Plan for both of you for those three nights. The only caveat to this scenario is tickets. Because the ticket cost per day decreases as the number of days on the ticket increases, it might be more cost-effective to book the two reservations as room only packages and
buy your tickets separately. I like to play around on the
Walt Disney World website with all the possible combinations of options and see which one makes the most sense.
There are some really great
special offers for your travel dates, too, so those might give you even more options to consider. Did you know that you will receive free admission to a
Disney Water Park on your check in day? So, if you end up doing the split stay idea I shared with you, that means you and your daughter will also get another day of
free Disney Water Park admission on your second check in day.
Nell, I hope you and your daughter have a fantastic time! If you have any other questions, please bring them back to us here at planDisney.
Have a magical trip!
Melanie
