If I have a 5 night reservation to a DW Resort, and make fastpass reservations for all 5 nights, but then have to cancel 1 or 2 nights at the beginning of our trip, will they cancel all of my fastpass reservations, or only those for the days cancelled?

Hi there, Jay! Thank you so much for taking the time to visit the Disney Parks Moms Panel again!

In February of this year, Walt Disney World Resort had to close a "loophole" of sorts that previously allowed Guests who canceled their Walt Disney World Resort Hotel reservation to retain the FastPass+ selections they had made prior. Under the current policy, the FastPass+ selections tied to a canceled Walt Disney World Resort hotel reservation will also be removed from the system.

Since yours is a unique situation, I called Guest Services today to get clarification. I'm happy to report that you will still retain all the FastPass+ selections for the days during which you still have a Resort hotel reservation. Simply put, you will only lose the FastPass+ selections for the one or two days that you need to cancel. I'd recommend speaking with a Reservations agent if you have any questions at (407) 934-7639.

So Jay, make sure to set a reminder on your schedule to make those FastPasses at 7:00 AM Eastern Time 60 days before your arrival date! Also, keep an eye on the Disney Parks Blog for announcements about Mickey and Minnie's Runaway Railway, set to open in Disney's Hollywood Studios sometime this spring. Now that would be the ultimate FastPass to score!

Hi, I'm Eean from Pennsylvania!  I may have an unusual name, but my passion for Disney is not unique.  It’s amazing how many people you can find who love talking about, "The Most Magical Place On Earth!"  I'm that mom who always has her ears perked at PTO meetings, in the grocery store aisle, or at middle school basketball games waiting for an opportunity to give someone a planning tip to help make their vacation even more magical.
