Welcome aboard planDisney! A 7-night Halloween on the High Seas sailing aboard the Disney Magic is already a pumpkin-packed good time, but the fact that you'll be sailing on Halloween itself? That's the kind of timing that would make even the Hitchhiking Ghosts want to book a stateroom.
I checked my spooky crystal ball and here's what is currently planned for your sailing:
• Day 2 (At Sea) –
Mickey's Mouse-querade and trick-or-treating
• Day 3 (At Sea) – Formal Night
• Day 5 (Cabo San Lucas) –
Pirate Night• Day 6 (At Sea) – Semi-Formal Night
Honestly, this itinerary is about as spook-tacular as it gets. Not only do you get Mickey's Mouse-querade, trick-or-treating, haunted happenings around the ship, and Pirate Night, but you're actually spending October 31
onboard the Magic. That's a rare combination of spooky and spectacular. If you're anything like my crew, you'll probably spend as much time admiring everyone else's costumes and stateroom decorations as you do participating in the events themselves.
Of course, entertainment schedules can sometimes be as unpredictable as a visit from the Headless Horseman, so be sure to check the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app once you're connected to the ship's Wi-Fi at the terminal. It will have the latest schedule and any changes that may occur before embarkation.
If you don't already have them on your packing list, I highly recommend bringing along some
magnetic hooks and battery-powered Halloween lights. My crew usually brings pumpkin lights for our stateroom door, and it's become one of our favorite little traditions. It adds some extra Halloween spirit and makes finding your stateroom after an evening of ghoulish fun much easier.
