What night is pirate night for the Bahamian cruise leaving from Port Canaveral on March 11 - Fantasy?

Ahoy, Alison, and welcome to planDisney! Your Disney cruise is just around the corner, and an unforgettable adventure is on the horizon. Rotational dining, Broadway-style shows, lively onboard activities, and island destinations are waiting for you. Between all that magic is a beloved Disney Cruise Line tradition: Pirate Night!

Entertainment schedules are subject to change, but it currently looks like your 4-night cruise will feature Pirate Night on Day 3, after Guests have returned from Disney Lookout Cay. For Pirate Night, you can expect a festive dinner menu, a thrilling deck party, themed onboard activities, and even fireworks (weather permitting). My kids and I had a lot of fun dressing up in pirate outfits. Some Guests go all out with full costumes, while others choose to wear a themed shirt and hat. Our family landed somewhere in the middle.

Your cruise also appears to have an optional dress-up night scheduled for Day 2. This is a fun opportunity to wear something a little more fancy, although it's perfectly fine to stick with cruise casual attire if you prefer. Many Guests like to take advantage of the onboard photo services when they're all dressed up.

The Disney Fantasy is a timeless ship – it has an elegant style with the perfect amount of magical Disney details. There are fun areas the whole family can enjoy, as well as adult-exclusive locations that are great for relaxing. You'll enjoy a mix of stage shows and other entertainment, my favorite being "Disney’s Aladdin – A Musical Spectacular."

With so much to do and see, I highly recommend having the Disney Cruise Line Navigator App. Once you're connected to the Wi-Fi on the ship, you'll be able to see the full breakdown of activity and entertainment schedules. You can "heart" activities you want to follow – might I suggest silent disco, trivia, and karaoke?

Alison, I hope you have a fantastic time sailing through The Bahamas aboard the Disney Fantasy. If you think of any other questions between now and embarkation day, please reach out – we're always happy to help here at planDisney!
