Ahoy there, Jonathan! Thank you for sailing back to planDisney. My fellow panelists and I are glad to have you with us.
You'll be kicking off the holiday season in the best way, with a
Very Merrytime sailing! My family and I have such fond memories of sailing with Disney Cruise Line for their special holiday-themed voyages and I'm thrilled you will be experiencing it too. Once you step aboard the
Disney Dream, you'll be able to use the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app to view the itinerary for your entire sailing. You'll see a number of holiday activities and events that will be offered. You can click the heart icon next to those activities you would like to attend and the app will send a notification before your chosen event is about to begin.
Your cruise director will be creating an itinerary of events specific to your sailing. It's likely that you will experience Mickey's Tree Lighting Magic Ceremony and Santa's Winter Wonderland Ball. Keep an eye out for Kris Kringle onboard too! I especially enjoy greeting Disney Characters dressed in their holiday best and taking photos together. In fact, there are excellent photo opportunities all over the ship as the Disney Dream will be decked from bow to stern in holiday decorations.
During your 4-night itinerary, you can expect one evening to be an optional dress-up night (you'll see guests in formal and semi-formal attire) and a
Pirate Night. The other two evenings will be suggested cruise casual attire. Entertainment offerings and schedules are subject to change, but it is likely that the dress-up night will be the second evening of your sailing and the Pirate Night will be your third evening onboard.
I had the opportunity to join two fellow panelists in the Ballroom of the Haunted Mansion at Disneyland Resort to speak about all things Halloween and Holidays in the Disney Parks and onboard the Disney Cruise Line. You can listen to or watch the
third episode of the planDisney podcast to hear more about what to expect during your Very Merrytime sailing. Please cruise our way again if you have more questions!
Have a jolly holiday,
Adrianna
