Hi there. Are there night lights in the bathrooms in a 2 bedroom villa @ Saratoga Springs resort?

    Hi Merle,

Welcome to planDisney! Thanks for asking this thoughtful question – I love talking about Disney details and sharing how my family travels, so I’d love to chat with you about night lights in bathrooms at Disney Resorts Collection hotels for your upcoming stay.

Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort and Spa is a delightful, relaxing resort centrally located at the Walt Disney World Resort. I spoke with a helpful Cast Member who confirmed that unfortunately there are no specific night lights in the bathrooms at this resort. My family always sets up a night light for our resort bathrooms so I can share some additional ideas for safety and comfort during your upcoming stay in a beautiful 2 Bedroom Villa.

There are typically a variety of light fixtures and options in all Disney Resorts Collection hotel bathrooms, so you should be able to turn on the lowest light and close the bathroom door (but not latch it) to allow a small amount of comfortable light to guide your path in the night to the bathroom. Sometimes we have to play with different combinations of vanity or shower lights and see what feels most comfortable to allow us to sleep but also give the security of a light when needed.

My family always travels with one or two plug-in night lights, which began when my son was very little and needed that comfort near his bed, but we continue to bring them now for bathroom use in all our travels. You can find simple plug-in lights at a pharmacy or convenience store, and they fit in my toiletry bag easily for smooth travels. There is typically an outlet in the bathroom near the sink that we use for this purpose and a soft night light is just right for staying in a new room while we’re away from home. The trick is to remember to pack it when you leave, it’s an easy item to leave behind when plugged in (but these are not expensive if accidentally forgotten on a trip; we’ve replaced a few over the years). Please know your 2 Bedroom Villa will have two bathrooms, so if you bring your own night light you may wish to bring one for each bathroom in this spacious accommodation.

I hope this idea helps light your way to a restful night at Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort and Spa, Merle. Please see another answer I recently shared with a Guest regarding the bath products – you're going to be taken care of at this lovely resort and feel refreshed after a good night’s sleep.

Please let us know if you have other questions to bring peace of mind or help you know what to expect for your upcoming stay.

    Wishing you a magical vacation,
