Hi Sydney,
My husband and I always try to plan a night out by ourselves when we visit Walt Disney World. There are many options for adults at Walt Disney World; let me offer you some of our favorite things to do!
Consider an evening at
Disney Springs. You can peruse the shops, take in some entertainment, and enjoy great food. If you are looking for something active to do, try a round of bowling at Splitsville Luxury Lanes. If you prefer music, you can check if House of Blues has an act that appeals to you. For dinner, there are many different options. My husband and I recently enjoyed a date night at Morirmoto Asia, which features Pan-Asian fare. At the end of an evening at Disney Springs, I like to head to
Jock Lindsey's Hangar Bar. I always try to get seating outside in the area that looks like a boat. I enjoy watching the people go by, and you can often see live acts on a nearby stage.
Another area that is fun for date night is
Disney's BoardWalk. This destination features dining and shopping, as well as outdoor entertainment. It is significantly smaller than Disney Springs, but has a charm all its own. For something a little different, try
Jellyrolls, a rollicking fun dueling piano bar.
Finally, and this may seem a little counter-intuitive, but my husband and I have loved spending a date night at a theme park! Even if you are at theme parks all day with little ones, I think that makes it even more special to head there as just adults and do only what the two of you want to do!
Please do let us know if you have any further questions, Sydney.
