Ahoy there, Eyleen! I’m so glad you decided to sail by planDisney with your question before your son’s birthday cruise.
As much as I’d love to dive right in so you can start coordinating costumes and outfits, it looks like you might be about a week early with your question. We typically see the attire schedule and
Deck Party information released about 6 months before sailings. Since your Disney Cruise vacation is scheduled to depart in mid-September, we can expect those details to emerge later this month.
I know it’s a Bibbidi Bobbidi Bummer that you can’t start filling in your calendar yet, so allow me to paint a picture of some other highlights you can expect on your upcoming trip. In addition to the spooktakular decor you’ll see on the ship, you may also find special experiences like Mickey's Mouse-querade Party, Haunted Stories of the Sea, Tim Burton's The Nightmare Before Christmas Sing and Scream, and other Halloween activities. One of my favorite moments on our last
Halloween on the High Seas cruise was discovering the Spellbinding Hocus Pocus Inspired Meet-and-Greet, where we got to take pictures with Minnie Mouse, Daisy Duck, and Clarabelle Cow dressed up as the iconic Sanderson sisters from the movie “Hocus Pocus”. Make sure to check the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator App once onboard for exact times and locations of events.
The 4-Night Halloween on the High Seas Bahamian Cruise from Fort Lauderdale is one of my favorite itineraries because it stops at both
Disney Castaway Cay and
Disney Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point. Plus, sailing out of Fort Lauderdale is so easy because of the proximity to the airport and all the great restaurants so close to the port. Did you know that you can also book Port Adventures in
Fort Lauderdale before you embark or even on your disembarkation day? I also highly recommend a stroll along Riverwalk Fort Lauderdale if you have time.
Your fall cruise on the
Disney Dream will be here before you know it, Eyleen! If you want to circle back with me here at
planDisney, I’d be happy to check for answers on your behalf again soon!
Embrace the magic,
Sami
