We are going on the 6-Night Halloween on the High Seas Western Caribbean Cruise from Port Canaveral. Is there just a Pirate Night that you dress up like a pirate and no other night to dress up as other characters?

    Hi there, Brittany!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!  I am so excited to “sea” that you will be headed to sea with Captain Mickey this fall for a Halloween on the High Seas voyage!  You are going to have the most FANTAStic adventure and I am so excited for you!

Spending Halloween onboard a Disney Cruise Line ship is always so much fun!  My family has actually been onboard a Disney Cruise Line ship the past two Halloweens and we always had a great time!  At first I was concerned that my boys would rather be at home trick-or-treating with their neighborhood friends, but I was definitely wrong on that!  In fact, after that first year they said they would GLADLY go on “the Mickey Boat” each Halloween!  The spooktacular activities and decorations onboard make for an exceptionally fun holiday!  On your six-night voyage you can expect to have both Pirate Night and a Halloween-themed night.  While always subject to change, currently Pirate Night is scheduled for Day Three (when you visit Cozumel) and the Halloween-themed night and festivities will be announced once you are onboard.  Please note that it may not be on the 31st as it is always dependent upon final schedules being made.  Since the 31st is a Sea Day, I would think there is a pretty decent chance that will be the Halloween-themed night, but there are no guarantees.

Hopefully you’ve had a chance to download the Disney Cruise Line Navigator app by now, and if you haven’t, go ahead and do so!  It is filled with useful information that will come in handy before – and definitely during – your voyage!  Once onboard you will be able to access a full schedule of onboard activities, entertainment, port information, menus and much more!

Wishing you the most magical and memorable Halloween ever!

    Happy Sailing!
