Hello! We have a 7-night Halloween cruise coming up on the Fantasy. Which night is usually scheduled for Halloween costumes, and are we allowed to wear them to dinner at Palo or Remy even if not elegant? What are the Halloween night activities? Thank you!

    Hi, Lyndsay!

Thank you for stopping by planDisney. I am so excited that you are sailing on a Halloween on the High Seas cruise! My family had a fantastic vacation onboard the Disney Wish during this most spooktacular time of year. We enjoyed wearing Halloween costumes one night and hanging out with our favorite Disney Characters at Mickey's Mouse-querade (a fun Halloween dance party). My kids also loved saying hello to Minnie Mouse, Daisy Duck, and Clarabelle Cow dressed as the Sanderson sisters from Hocus Pocus. They were so cute! Other fun activities included trick-or-treating and Halloween crafts.

I just checked the schedule for the Disney Fantasy sailing on September 28, 2024. The Halloween festivities are currently planned to take place on the Monday of your sailing. This schedule is subject to change, and I recommend checking the Disney Cruise Line Navigator app after boarding the ship for an up-to-date schedule.

I chatted with Cast Member Adelle who said that the dress code for Palo and Remy is strictly enforced, even on dress-up nights such as Halloween or Pirate Night. She said you are welcome to enjoy your meal and then change into your costumes afterward. I am sorry that is not the news you were hoping for! I suggest reviewing the dress code ahead of time if you are dining in one of these incredible restaurants during your voyage. They serve the most delicious food! I had brunch with my parents and spouse at Palo Steakhouse on the Disney Wish last year, and we are still raving about our meal! Since it was an adults-only restaurant, my kids played in Disney's Oceaneer Club while we enjoyed brunch. Everyone was happy!

Lyndsay, have a wonderful vacation! Please reach out to planDisney again if you have additional questions!

    Happy sailing!
