Ahoy, Frances!
Welcome aboard planDisney! An Alaska sailing is already breathtaking, so pairing it with a little Arendelle energy feels like the ultimate start to summer. Glaciers, snow-capped peaks, and maybe even a royal visit from Elsa? That’s what I call letting it glow.
For your sailing, you’re currently scheduled for
a formal night on Day 2 (at sea) and a semi-formal night on Day 5 (Juneau). As of now, the schedule does not list the Frozen Deck Party or any other pool deck celebrations for your voyage. I haven’t seen anything officially announced confirming whether the Frozen-themed fun will return for the 2026 Alaska season, so at this point, there’s no set evening tied to it.
I know that’s not quite the “For the First Time in Forever” news you were hoping for, but don’t hang up your coronation cape just yet. Entertainment schedules can shift, and Disney often communicates updates like this by email prior to sailing so I would recommend staying alert for any potential changes. Once you’re onboard and connected to the ship’s Wi-Fi, your
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app will be your first mate for the most up-to-date schedule of deck parties, character appearances, and all other onboard fun.
In past Alaska seasons, when a
Frozen Deck Party has been offered, it has often taken place on the same day as the scenic voyage by
the Stikine Icecap. The timing makes perfect sense, since you’re literally surrounded by icy splendor that would make Olaf feel right at home. That said, entertainment offerings can always change from year to year, so it’s something to keep an eye on as your sailing approaches.
I hope this
helps as you plan your wardrobe, your photo ops, and your Alaska adventure. Even if the Frozen event doesn’t appear on the schedule, Alaska itself delivers plenty of chill-worthy magic. May your glaciers sparkle, your cocoa stay warm, and your cruise feel like a page straight out of a Nordic fairytale.
Sea ya real soon with a little extra warmth, wonder, and Disney magic,
Dustin
