I am going on a 7-night eastern Caribbean cruise on the Fantasy in April. I am trying to figure out the best night to book Remy. I am considering the second night but don’t want to miss the Captains Gala and special menu. What night is that served?

    Welcome aboard, Tonika!

How exciting to be looking to board the Disney Fantasy in just a few weeks! It’s my family’s favorite ship in the fleet, and the Eastern Caribbean itinerary is also very special with several days at sea and the magical island ports of call. I understand wanting to plan out your evenings, and you’ve come to the right place as I’m able to share the full details of your schedule.

For the April 1, 2023 7-Night Eastern Caribbean Sailing on the Fantasy:

    • Saturday, Port Canaveral – Cruise Casual
    • Sunday, At Sea – Formal
    • Monday, At Sea – Cruise Casual
    • Tuesday, Tortola – Pirate (or Cruise Casual)
    • Wednesday, St. Thomas – Cruise Casual
    • Thursday, At Sea – Semi-Formal
    • Friday, Castaway Cay – Cruise Casual

Please see the dress code guidelines for both Formal and Semi-Formal Nights. While you’ll see a wide range of styles onboard, please know these dress codes are encouraged but not enforced as every family does what is most comfortable for them. My family loves to embrace the classic cruising style and enjoy the chance to dress up a little, but I am mindful to pack items that won’t wrinkle too much or take up too much space in our luggage. Be sure to take a moment before dinner for family photos in the atrium on these special nights!

Dinner at Remy would be a lovely evening if you’re able to secure a reservation. This adult-exclusive dining location features world-class French dishes presented with impeccable service. I loved the champagne pairing at my Remy experience, and please know you may share a wine or champagne pairing if the multi-course servings are more alcohol than you’d prefer. The dining team is fantastic and will give you a personalized tour throughout your meal.

Pirate Night is a beloved Disney Cruise Line tradition, but also up to your own style and comfort. Some Guests wear full pirate costumes, and others have a nod to Disney pirate-themed films or attractions in their clothing. No one must walk the plank if you decide to go Cruise Casual that night, but everyone is welcome to enjoy the special dinner menu, stage show, and fireworks at sea to celebrate the festive occasion!

As you finalize your plans, be sure to review Disney Cruise Line’s Packing Checklists, planDisney cruise tips, and our planDisney Pocket Guide to the Disney Fantasy! You’ll be sailing away in no time.

Wishing you sunshine and calm seas,
    Amy
