Hi, We are going on a 7 night easter carribean cruise. We booked airfare through Disney same day as the cruise leaves. Reviewers have said not to do it in the same day...any opinion on this?

    Hi Jana,

Congratulations on your Eastern Caribbean cruise!  You are going to have a wonderful time on your vacation and you'll be thoroughly spoiled by the time you get home.  The service onboard is exceptional.

This is a tough question because I am a planner, and as a planner I try to think of everything that could come up that might cause a big problem during a trip, just so I can prepare with contingency plans.  That said, if it was my vacation, I would have flown in the day before just to make sure that I was avoiding possible flight delays on the day of sailing.  I'd also want to be able to wake up on sailing day and have a leisurely breakfast before I made my way to the cruise terminal (that's just me).  With all that said, I'm sure that the flights you were booked on have you arriving with time to spare.  Disney Cruise Line travel specialists are excellent at what they do.  I'm pretty sure they have taken all of these possibilities into account.  I don't think you should worry!

Have a wonderful time on your cruise Jana!  Thanks for visiting the Moms Panel.

Magic Kingdom still takes my breath away, but my favorite place to be is on a Disney ship looking at the horizon and breathing in that crisp, clean ocean air!  I love planning Disney vacations for others and making sure it's more than they dreamed. Learn More About Marisol
