Hi Doris!
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I am so excited to hEAR that you have an upcoming Disney Cruise Line vacation planned – and a
Marvel Day at Sea sailing!! My family sailed on the inaugural Marvel Day at Sea voyage last year and it was everything I could imagine and even more! Prior to that, I was not all that familiar with Marvel superheroes, but boy did I learn a lot on that voyage. Of course, I had a lot of help from my two young boys who love all things superhero!
On your five-night Marvel Day at Sea voyage, you can expect to have three cruise casual nights, one Pirate Night and one Marvel-themed night. While dressing up in costume for Pirate Night and Marvel Night are completely optional, Guests are encouraged to do so. Entertainment and nightly activities are always subject to change, and the final entertainment schedule will be available once you get onboard. Also, be sure to have the
Navigator app downloaded to your smartphone so that you have up to date access to a full schedule of entertainment, activities, menus and so much more!
Be sure to check for the “Captains Signing” scheduled event where you can meet the Captain and get him to sign any autograph books or special memorabilia you would like signed. My family always buys a Christmas tree ornament at the onboard gift shop and ask the Captain to sign it to commemorate our adventure at sea! It’s been a lot of fun to decorate our tree this season and look back on all our past voyages!
Wishing you a MAGICal and memorable adventure at sea, Doris! Please come back with any other planning questions you may have as your voyage approaches!
Happy Sailing!
Stephanie
