Hi Trudie!
Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Your cruise is right around the corner! How exciting! Like you, I always think about what clothing I want to pack for our upcoming Disney Cruises in advance. I'd be happy to give you some packing tips, as well as what the attire for dinner typically is, on each night of a three-night cruise.
Disney Cruise Line's Rotational Dining allows you to dine in each of the ship's three main restaurants throughout your cruise. What's even more amazing is your Server and Assistant Server will rotate with you, so you're guaranteed their incredible service each evening for dinner! Typically, on three-night voyages, dinner attire for the first evening will be a cruise casual night, the second evening will be Pirate Night and the third will be an optional dress-up night. With the exception of no tank tops or swimsuits during dinner, you should pack clothes that you're comfortable in! For casual night, I like wearing a nice pair of jeans and a light sweater or long-sleeved top. For Pirate Night, Guests will dress up anywhere from full pirate ensembles to just an eye patch! My family and I like to wear matching Mickey Mouse pirate T-shirts but wearing pirate-related attire is completely optional! Instead, having another casual night is perfect. Finally, packing for the optional dress-up night is totally up to you on how dressy you want to be. I've seen families in suits and dresses as well as families in khakis and collared shirts. You should choose whatever you'll be most comfortable in.
Your carry-on luggage should be no greater than 14" tall, 22" wide and 9" deep. Your stateroom will be ready around 1:30 p.m. so depending on when you board, you'll be taking your carry-on luggage with you while you explore the ship until your stateroom is ready!
Have an incredible cruise, Trudie!
