For a 5 night cruise, I know I will get to try all three restaurants. Am I able to request which restaurants I would like to go to for a second time during the last two nights?

    Ahoy, Jamie!

Welcome aboard planDisney! Rotational dining is one of my favorite parts of sailing with Disney, so I completely understand wanting to choose wisely when it comes to where you dine on those last two nights. Great food, the same incredible serving team following you each evening, and different atmospheres along the way? It is dinner and a show with a little extra pixie dust.

After putting on my Detective Mickey ears and following the clues, it looks like you will be sailing on the Fantasy, and the good news is that you can absolutely call Disney Cruise Line and request a specific dining rotation. A friendly Cast Member can note your preference on the reservation so the dining team knows what you are hoping for. Just keep in mind it is a request, not a guarantee. The dining team does their best, but availability depends on how the rotations are balanced across the ship.

If you board and see that your rotation is not exactly what you wished upon, you can stop by the Onboard Dining Session on embarkation day to speak directly with the dining team. Just check your Disney Cruise Line Navigator app for the time and location once onboard. That is your best opportunity to see if any adjustments can be made. Again, no guarantees, but it never hurts to ask. I have found the crew to be incredibly accommodating when possible.

You are absolutely right that on a 5-night sailing you will experience all three main dining rooms. A couple of things to keep in mind as you think through your ideal lineup:

If your sailing includes Pirate Night, each dining room typically serves the same pirate-themed menu that evening. So while the setting will differ, the menu and overall theme will be consistent shipwide. That night is more about the swashbuckling spirit than the specific restaurant.

For most 5-night sailings on the Magic, Wonder, Dream, or Fantasy, embarkation night often features the “Let the Magic Begin” menu in all three dining rooms. The Destiny has handled some 5-night sailings a bit differently, with Guests enjoying the second menu option in whichever dining room they are assigned that evening. Of course, menus and formats can change, but I always like to look at past patterns to get a sense of what might be served. It feels a little like studying the map before setting sail.

I hope this helps as you plan out your perfect dining adventure. With a little strategy and a sprinkle of flexibility, you will be well on your way to savoring every bite!

Sea ya real soon with a little extra warmth, wonder, and Disney magic,
    Dustin
