Hi there, Tia Marie!
Ahoy and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Your Disney Cruise Line vacation is SO SOON!! Just a couple more sleeps and then you will be onboard celebrating as you head to sea for an adventure you won’t forget! I am so excited for you and am certain you are too!
I am sure you are busy finalizing your packing and getting everything organized before heading to Port Canaveral for embarkation and I am happy to help answer your question about onboard dinner attire! On your six-night voyage you will have four cruise casual nights, one optional dress up night and one Pirate Night! So, no need to pack the fancy clothes for this voyage but you will want to bring your pirate duds for your pirate-themed dinner and the
Pirates IN the Caribbean deck party! Of course, costumes are optional for this exciting night, but it’s always fun to dress up along with the other swashbucklers onboard! For the optional dress up night I would recommend a nice sundress for the ladies and a button down or polo shirt for the men. No matter what, be sure to bring what you are comfortable in – and I always recommend bringing a sweater or cardigan as they tend to keep the main dining rooms at a comfortable temperature for a large group – and for me that is chilly!
Some other last minute things you may want to make sure to put in your suitcase include: a lanyard to hold your Key to the World card, some clothespins and Ziploc bags because they ALWAYS come in handy at some point during the voyage and a reusable cup or tumbler to fill at the 24-hour drink stations! These are items that I always bring and always find useful while onboard. Also make sure you have the
Navigator app downloaded; it will be your “go to” for all the information while onboard!
Wishing you a
FANTAStic and memorable voyage! Say hi to Captain Mickey for me!
Happy Sailing!
Stephanie
