Hi there, Aimee!
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I am so very excited (and a tad envious) of your upcoming Disney Cruise itinerary! A cruise with two days at
Castaway Cay is on my bucket list of things to do! I absolutely love everything about Castaway Cay because so much is there to do and see as well as just have fun! My kids love the Scuttle’s Cove Youth Club that is located on the island and in turn, I love visiting Serenity Bay for some quiet time on the adult-only beach! So, we all win in that situation!!
Nassau is a great port to call on because there is such a variety of things to do and there is something for everyone! Due to the ages of my children, we have not done the AquaAdventure (which looks SO FUN!), but I know excursions at Atlantis are very popular for Guests! We are waiting until my boys get a little taller (so they can ride the waterslides) before venturing there when we visit Nassau again! One of our favorite things to do in Nassau is a day at
Blue Lagoon! We love having a day to lounge around at the beach and enjoy the beautiful water and there are also dolphin encounters! But again, there have been times where we have chosen to not do a scheduled excursion, but we do disembark and walk around the port area. We love visiting the Pirate Museum in town and shopping for fun souvenirs to bring back home with us!
Since your online booking window won’t open until closer to your sail date (ranges from 120 days for Platinum and Concierge Guests to 75 days for first time Guests), you have some time to research and see if any new excursions are released! They are always coming out with new and exciting adventures!
Happy Sailing!
Stephanie
