We're on the 7 night E. Caribbean cruise in October. I got an email from Disney saying our cruise includes a formal evening, but when I look at the cruise activities overview, it doesn't mention it. How do I find out if I really need to pack for formal?

    Hi, Melissa -

Thanks for stopping by the  Moms Panel with your question. How exciting to hear that you are on your final countdown to your magical cruise! Your Halloween on the High Seas voyage will be an awesome vacation that you'll be talking about for a long time!

You most definitely can pack your dressy formal wear for your 7-night Eastern Caribbean cruise. You'll be reminded of the suggested dining attire for each evening on your daily personal navigator. If you decide to go to Palo or Remy for dinner or brunch sometime during your voyage, make sure you pack another dressy outfit for that special meal (just for adults). Don't forget your Pirate gear, and don't forget your Halloween Costumes too! Everyone is welcome to dress up... not just the kids - for Mickey's Mouse-querade Party!

There will be lots of special photo opportunities, so always have your camera handy. The ship will be beautifully decorated, setting up the scene for a frightfully good time. Be prepared to catch your family's reactions to all the nifty surprises that you'll come across at every corner. What a spooktacular time to look forward to!

Please write back if you have other questions that we can try to help with. Happy planning, Melissa!
