Hiya, Ryne!
I'm so glad you've found your way to planDisney –– thanks for stopping by with your question today. Now that your upcoming visit is only a few weeks away, you must be getting so excited! Before you know it, you'll be wandering down Main Street, U.S.A. and taking in all the frightful fun of
Spooky Season at Walt Disney World Resort!
Like you, my family really enjoys splitting our stays between multiple
Disney Resorts Collection hotels during each visit. With different amenities, incredible details and theming, and so many unique things to do at each Resort, it's almost like getting two vacations in one! I know the one big thing you'll need to consider when you book a split stay is how you'll transfer your luggage, so I'm happy to report that you can head to
Disney's All-Star Music Resort as early as you'd like on the day you move –– Bell Services at the Resort will be happy to store your luggage for you until your room is ready.
While you're welcome to move your luggage yourself, did you know that Walt Disney World also offers complimentary luggage transfers between Disney Resorts Collection hotels? Because we don't typically have our own vehicle when we visit, this is how my family moves our baggage when we book a split stay, and I can tell you that it's an incredibly easy and convenient process. To take advantage of this complimentary service, you'll just need to drop your bags at the Bell Services desk (or call from your room to have them picked up) and let them know that you'll be moving over to Disney's All-Star Music Resort. Then, you'll be free to head out to all the fun you have planned for the rest of the day. Once you arrive at your next Resort and your room is ready, you can stop by Bell Services to pick up your luggage or arrange to have it delivered directly to your room. Just keep in mind that it can take several hours for your luggage to be transferred, so if you have things like medication or device cords that you need at a certain time, you'll want to keep those things with you when you head out from
Disney's All-Star Sport's Resort.
I hope this helped answer your question, Ryne, and I really appreciate you visiting planDisney. If you think of more questions as your Walt Disney World Resort visit gets closer, please don't hesitate to drop by again –– we're always here to lend a helping hand!
See Ya Real Soon,
Amy
