    we are going on the 4 night bahamian cruise in august our first cruise ever,,very exited.i wanted to know since we have to dress formal for dinner,can my 16 year old still wear jeans with a nice shirt? he doesn't where anything else but jeans and shorts.

    Hello Sonia,

    I'm so excited for you!  You are going to have the best time EVER!  I promise!  I'll tell you the truth.  I don't think that you'll have a problem if he wants to wear a nice pair of jeans (dark), dress shoes, and a nice shirt.  I'd have him add a tie to that outfit though.  Personally, I would make my son wear a pair of slacks because it's going to be the perfect opportunity for you to get formal pictures of your family.  There will be photographers ready to take your family portrait, and it would be so nice for you, Mom, to have a picture of your young man in his finest.  Besides, he can always go back to the cabin and change his clothes before he heads back to his youth club.
