We will be going on the 4 night Bahamas cruise next summer. I noticed that one night dinner is "dress up", requiring a sports coat for men. Would it be acceptable for the men to wear dress shirts and ties instead?

    Hi, Janet!

For the 4-night Bahamian cruise, the site suggests a dinner jacket for gentlemen, but it's not required. My husband and sons wore dress shirts (minus the ties!), long khaki pants, belts and loafers to dinner on each night except the pirate night. The only exception would be if the men in your traveling party are planning on dining at Palo (or Remy)...in that case, jackets are required.

I hope that helps you plan. Have a wonderful day and a magical vacation. Bon voyage!
