Is there a way to have my nieces MagicBand on her own credit card, but still be visible in our plans? Or will she be required to have her own account? We're worried we won't be able to get FastPasses together. Thank you!

Hi Rob and welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I’m so happy to see that you’re busy planning your family’s upcoming visit to the Walt Disney World Resort! The Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival will be in full bloom during your trip and you won’t want to miss it!

A helpful Cast Member at the Cabins at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort just explained this whole process to me! Your niece can absolutely have her own credit card linked to her MagicBand, so that the charges she makes with her band will go directly to her card when you check out of your Disney Resort hotel. All you have to do is visit the front desk of your resort and let the Cast Member who is helping you know which person/band belongs to which card. Your niece will be asked to swipe/ insert her card into a card reader, she will tap her band to a Mickey sensor and enter her own pin. That’s it!

Rob, she can still be on your My Disney Experience account and will not need her own account (unless she would like to create one) and you will still be able to make your plans together.

It’s important to know that your FastPass+ window will be opening 60 days before your magical visit since you're staying on-site. I like to check the Interactive Park Calendar, so I know where and when Extra Magic Hours will be offered. It also helps to know the park schedules so you can map out where you’d like to make your FastPass+ selections and dining reservations.

I hope this information is helpful to you as you continue to plan your visit. Feel free to stop by again with any other questions you might have! Helping you with the details of your next magical stay is our pleasure!
