Hi, Jim! Thanks for coming back to see us at the Disney Parks Moms Panel. We're always so happy when our friends stop by for another chat!
What an adventure your niece and nephew have ahead of them as brand new little Floridians! I just know they're going to love growing up next door to the Walt Disney World Resort. And I bet they'll have a great time visiting with their wonderful uncle, too!
Jim, taking the little ones to Walt Disney World is as easy as a walk in the (Theme) Park. If the children already have their own
Annual Passes, you don't need to do a thing. They'll either have
MagicBands or admission cards linked to their passes, so they can just tap, scan their fingers, and go. If their parents haven't purchased Annual Passes for the kiddos yet, they can stop by the ticket windows at any of the Theme Parks or the new
Disney Ticket Center at Disney Springs to buy and activate them before your big day.
If you encounter problems with the finger scan, hakuna matata, Jim! No worries! The Cast Members can still verify that the children have valid Annual Passes. My fellow
Moms Panelist Emille went through exactly this scenario. She notes that you can just explain the situation to the Cast Members and they'll work some Disney magic to ensure that everyone gets to enjoy the day.
Jim, if you need some ideas about fun things to do with your little Mouseketeer pals, check out Disney's super helpful
planning guide for preschool kids and little ones. With lists of
rides and attractions perfect for young kids, must-see entertainment, and even a playlist of Disney Junior tunes, you'll be one prepared uncle!
I hope this helps you have a ton of fun with your pint-sized guests, Jim. Please come by again if you have any more questions!
Keep Disney Dreaming,
Kathy K.
