    My niece will be marching (with her high school band) in the Magic Kingdom parade in March 2011. How many miles will they be marching? In other words, what is the distance (not route) of the Magic Kingdom parade?

    Hi there Sue!

    I love technical questions! I guess it's the designer in me! I went online and checked a Google application which I use when I am mapping my walking, running, and riding trails. I used the application for the typical Magic Kingdom parade route and it said that from beginning to end, the route is a total of .517 miles. This does not include any of the "backstage areas" because I do not know what goes on back there but, at least you know how long your Niece will be walking. I hope this helps with your planning.
