Hi Susan,
Welcome to planDisney!
Well, how wonderful of you to want to add an experience for them! How you add an experience depends on the type of experience you are trying to add. My friends and loved ones have given me Disney Gift Cards in the past. These are great because I can just store them in my
Disney Gift Card account and then use them in the parks and resorts. The beauty of Disney Gift Cards is that we then decide how to use them when we arrive!
If you know of a specific experience your niece and her family want, you can potentially reserve it for them, but you would need to work out the details of payment. You can make
advance dining reservations for them or you could book one of the
Enchanting Extras Experiences. Advanced dining and other experiences can typically be booked
60-days in advance but, for specific Enchanting Extras experiences, check the reservation details. Also check out the
Capture Your Moment - Magic Kingdom opportunity. This is a popular photo session that I highly recommend you book in advance. If they are staying at a resort hotel that has poolside cabanas, consider also
renting a cabana for them to relax in by the pool.
Given that their arrival date is quickly approaching, I suggest that you make those reservations as soon as possible. If you make a reservation and are given a confirmation number, share the confirmation number with them so that they can try to
link it in their My Disney Experience account. With my family, I know that all things Star Wars are good reservations to make, so I suggest that you check reservations for
Savi's Workshop and
Droid Depot.
Susan, I do hope you get something reserved. Also consider
Disney Floral & Gifts. If you cannot reserve an experience, you could send them an in-room delivery! Or, since memories are so important, consider purchasing Memory Maker for them so they will have access to all of their digital
Disney PhotoPass photos. Carry on being the fabulous magic-creating aunt that you are!
Magic and memories,
Donyell
