Hello, My niece is going on our Halloween on the High Seas Western Caribbean cruise. Besides her birth certificate or passport, what documentation do I need for her to be able to board the ship without any issues? Thank you.

    Ahoy, Stacy!

Thanks for cruising by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question.

I'm so excited to hear you'll be enjoying a Halloween on the High Seas sailing this fall. Disney Cruise Line celebrates Halloween in such a SPOOKTACULAR way, with fun-filled events and and thrills and chills throughout your vacation! I'm sure you're already counting down the days until you set sail with Captain Mickey and his crew.

Aside from standard travel documents such as a birth certificate and/or a passport, you'll also need an Authorization For Minor To Travel Without a Parent or Legal Guardian Form, in order for your niece to board the ship with you. This form authorizes an adult other than the parent or legal guardian to retain care, custody and control of a child while on a Disney Cruise Line vacation. Her parent or legal guardian will need to complete the form prior to your arrival at the port terminal, where you'll present it to the Cast Member when you check in for your sailing.

I hope this helps with your planning. Have a magical day, Stacy! - Diane W.
