My niece & I have been going to Disney since she was little. We have a trip planned only weeks before her wedding. It won’t be a big celebration, no shower or bachelorette party. Any suggestions for something special I can surprise her with?

    Welcome to planDisney, Karen!

Oh, you must have so many wonderful memories of trips to Walt Disney World with your niece! Making a few more magical ones before she says "I do" is a lovely thought!

To treat the bride-to-be to some truly special moments before the hustle and bustle of the wedding, consider a day of pampering. Start the celebration with a treatment at The Grand Floridian Spa. Then, head to the gorgeous The Garden View Lounge - Tea Experience for a deliciously beautiful afternoon treat.

If you like the thought of pampering and tea, a different option for these is over in Disney's BoardWalk area. The Cake Bake Shop Restaurant by Gwendolyn Rogers is everything sparkly, bubbly, and celebratory--just perfect for your pre-wedding trip. Pair that with a visit to the nearby Mandara Spa, just a few steps away at Walt Disney World Dolphin Hotel. It's another way to celebrate the day, building core memories for sure.

When we're celebrating someone special, I like to book something extra-magical such as Celebration at the Top - Sip, Savor, Sparkle or--my personal favorite--Magic Kingdom Fireworks Dessert Parties: Pre-Party. Experiences such as these add flavor, sparkle, and the opportunity to view Happily Ever After from two very special perspectives.

Of course, if you are dining at a Table Service restaurant, you can order a Mickey Mouse celebration cake to be delivered at the end of your special meal. Looking to make your resort stay even more special? Consider something from Magical Floral & Gifts. Check out personalized gifts you can present to your niece, too, at DisneyStore.com. Order a Walt Disney World Castle Glass Jewelry Box so she can store her rings post-wedding. Announce the occasion with coordinated "I Do Crew" T-shirts or the Mickey Mouse "Mrs" Bride Wedding Ring T-Shirt. So fun!

Don't forget to pick up a complimentary Celebration Button at any Guest Relations or the front desk of your Disney Resort hotel. Cast Members and guests alike will notice and wish your niece all the happiness in the world--sure to bring her countless smiles throughout the trip!

As you plan all the pixie dust for your special visit to The Most Magical Place on Earth, Karen, be sure to send additional questions our way. We love to help!
