My niece might be coming with us to WDW. If I make resevations for 4 but only 3 of actually make the trip will I lose my dinner reservation? Trying to book accordingly in case she comes on the trip. Thank you 😊

Hi John! Since booking dining at Walt Disney World can get competitive it is always best to book it for the maximum number of guests you will need.

We are at Walt Disney World often and I usually book for four persons hoping that maybe some of our Disney friends can join us. If not then we head for the restaurant and upon check-in let them know there will only be two of us. You are not charged for the two who were not able to come.

Obviously since reservations are at a premium it is best to plan ahead and know who will be with you but things happen and you can't always know 180 days in advance. You do the best you can and hope it all works out. Please note that if your numbers change and you try to make a new reservation you must cancel the one you have before making the new one. I highly recommend you do NOT do this as once you have cancelled something you might not be able to get a new one just to adjust the number of guests. Adjust it when you arrive at the restaurant.
