My niece is going to Blizzard Beach next week but is not a very good swimmer. Can you tell me how deep the pools are at the bottom of the slides?

    Hi Sharli,

The depth of the water at the bottom of the various slides at Blizzard Beach will vary.  Some can be just 54" where there are others that can be just under 4 feet and even 8 1/2 feet deep.  If you are at all in doubt about your niece possibly having a problem I would definitely get her a complimentary lifejacket which they will supply you with if you ask for one.  I always err on the side of caution when my daughter is around the water and I have many times suited her up with a life jacket just to be on the safer side.  I have seen many kids (even adults who were not strong swimmers) having to be rescued when I have visited the Water Parks in Disney and most of those situations could have been avoided if they had just been wearing a life saving device.  Have a wonderful trip to WDW!

    Best wishes,
