Hi Kim! Nice to meet you! Welcome to planDisney. You have no idea how thrilling it is for me to hear about this special visit to the Happiest Place on Earth you have coming up soon!
Thank you for your great question, Kim. Fortunately, the name on a Disneyland Resort theme park ticket doesn't matter too much until after the Guest's picture is taken at the park entrance where the ticket will then be officially linked to that Guest. Just make sure the children's ticket will be used for a child age 3-9.
If your ticket is unused, and it'll make you feel better, you may reach out to Guest Services beforehand to change the name either by giving the
Tickets line a call or initiating a chat from the
"Help" page on the Disneyland website. The help chat box hovers on the right-hand side of your screen and is a great resource to connect with a friendly Cast Member who can assist you.
Well, I hope that alleviates your worries, Kim, and you can go back to dreaming about all the magic and wonder you're about to experience! You're going to have such an incredible visit during the
Holidays, I just know it! I recently returned from Disneyland and one of my personal highlights was experiencing the snow fall on
Main Street! In my experience, it usually occurs during the
nightly fireworks extravaganza, but if the fireworks are cancelled (and sometimes that happens!) the snow fall will go on just a little bit longer. I loved it! My planDisney pals and I found a spot just outside of the Market House and it was a perfect spot to take in the projections too!
If you have any other questions or would like some additional tips or recommendations, like my favorite holiday treats or strategies to make sure you hit all your top priorities, don't hesitate to reach out again! I wish you the most magical visit!
Warmest wishes,
McCayla
